Steve Chaplin Finishes 2nd in VW cup Championship - 02 December 2009
Congratulations to Steve "digger driver" Chaplin after finishing 2nd in 2009 VW cup. His famous "Herbie" VW Bettle is equipped with AST 3 way competition dampers. An unfortunate gearbox failure at this years Donnington Park meeting means he was demoted to second place in the championship, however, an impressive run of 2 first place , 2 second place and 5 thirds puts him in a good position for next years season. more...

Congratulations to Toyo Tires/Lammertink Porsche, finishing 3rd at the Nordschleiefe VLN 4 hr race on the18th October, Piet and I attended testing and the race to assist in the setup of the Porsche 997 cup car, equipped with our 3way dampers, specificly designed for the challenging Nordschleife circuit. The Dutch Audi CR-8 Team is quite happy with its performance in the fourth running of the TOYO TIRES 24H of Dubai. Although a technical problem prior to the race caused a considerably delay, the potential of the Audi CR-8 was clearly demonstrated during the race. Ast-suspension had a successful show at the Autosportshow in Birmingham .Curtis from AST-UK arranged the stand and did a great job on the stand.We had some new suspension models on the stand like Porsche 997 GT3 cup and the 60mm id Rally shock. AST-Suspension at the PRI show in Orlando - 21 January 2009
We made it back in one piece from Orlando. What a great show. We met many new shops and racers from around the country and globe for that matter. One display were several current and new models from AST. The rally "jumbo" shock was a hit with those passing by along with the new Corvette coilovers. Today at Circuit Zolder Ast-Suspension and Toyo tires has tested the new 3 way adjustable suspension for the Porsche 997 GT3 of Lammertink Porsche. AST Equiped Ryan Bensley Takes 5th Win In Stock Ha - 09 October 2008
I have been working with a race team after they approached me to make some dampers for their Citroen Saxo. The regulations are fairly strict for the 750cc championship so some time was spent to design a damper which still conforms to the regs and yet has unrivalled performance. The first round of the new Time Attack series saw the very best the UK tuned cars come together in a tense shootout around Rockingham circuit. The Time Attack competitors were amazingly turned out and a real credit to the UK’s top tuners.
